Neko obdobje, leta nazaj, me je zanimala astrologija. Prebirala sem različne buklice, po priključitvi na splet prebrskala astro-to-in-ono, mrzlično izpolnjevala vprašalnike, s katerimi mi še vedno skoraj dnevno smetijo e-nabiralnik, včasih pa še kliknem na katerega in se pustim naplahtati. Ti izračuni oz. osebnostne astrološke karte, ki jih lahko prebereš že nekaj sekund potem, ko vpišeš svoje podatke, so neverjetni. Smo si ljudje v jedru res tako podobni, da vendarle lahko marsikateremu (malo daljšemu) priznamo nekaj verodostojnosti?

Introduction - The Astrology of Time

The ancient Maya and Aztec astrologers studied the mysterious influence of the rhythms of the sky on earthly life. Everyone knows the Sun rises and sets every day -- this is the basic rhythm of life around which we set our clocks and calendars. What the ancient astrologers discovered was that other time cycles existed that were multiples of this basic day cycle.
